Why We Exist
Celebration with a deeper purpose.
WUP began as a circle of friends who believed that when women come together to celebrate, they can also come together to carry one another. Every high tea, gala and concert we host funds real support for women rebuilding their lives.
We host the events women love — but we don't stop at a beautiful evening. Every dollar left over after covering an event's costs is set aside for women who need a hand: to leave, to heal, to learn, to start again.
Founded by a circle of friends who saw the power of sisterhood, WUP transforms every teacup and every ticket into something meaningful for women they'll never meet — but whose lives they'll change forever.

Who can apply for support?
Any woman facing a barrier to safety, education, income or wellbeing can apply through our Request Support form. Applications are reviewed by our support team, and we confirm eligibility in writing before any funds are released.

How much of my ticket actually reaches a woman?
100% of net event proceeds — everything left after covering the direct costs of running the event — is set aside for our five support pillars. We publish an annual summary of what was raised and how it was released.
How do I buy tickets to an event?
Every event on this page has a Get Tickets button that opens our secure ticketing partner. You'll get an email confirmation and a receipt immediately. If a date is sold out, join our newsletter and you'll hear about the next one first.
Is my donation tax deductible, and will I get a receipt?
Every gift is receipted automatically to the email address you provide. Tax deductibility depends on your country of residence and our registration status.

How quickly is a support request answered?
We aim to acknowledge every request within two working days and to give you a clear next step within five. Requests are handled confidentially and are never shared publicly without your written consent.
Can my company sponsor or partner with WUP?
Yes — we welcome sponsorship of individual events, a named pillar, or a full event series. Email partnerships@womenunitedinpurpose.org and we'll send our sponsorship pack.
